Spokesman for Hamas Movement Hussam Badran said in a statement issued on the occasion of Hamas’s 29th anniversary that his Movement’s compass is only directed towards Jerusalem and Palestine.
All attempts to wipe out Hamas Movement have failed he said. “Hamas has proven that it could not be abolished.”
Hamas today is stronger than before and would never be broken he asserted.
Badran pointed out that his Movement’s anniversary is a national occasion par excellence.
For his part another spokesman for the Movement Hazem Qassam said that Hamas’s anniversary represents a major event in the Palestinian liberation movement.
Hamas came to strengthen the Palestinian adherence to the national constants he added.
He renewed his Movement’s absolute adherence to armed resistance to restore all Palestinian legitimate rights.
Along the same line Fawzi Barhoum a senior Hamas official said that his Movement has made countless sacrifices for the sake of the Palestinian people.
Hamas has succeeded more than once to achieve victory over the Israeli enemy according to his statement.
“Hamas has been and still is preparing for a new confrontation with Israeli enemy in defense of Palestinian prisoners al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem.”
Barhoum added that his Movement will continue along the resistance path till achieving final victory.
