Ahmed Abdul-Hadi Hamas’s representative in Lebanon received on Wednesday Hakan Çakıl Turkish Ambassador in Lebanon at the Movement’s office in Beirut.
Several officials of Hamas attended the meeting including Ali Baraka a member of Hamas’s Arab and Islamic relations bureau and the two parties discussed bilateral relations and the latest developments of the Palestinian cause.
Abdul-Hadi briefed the Turkish envoy on the Palestinian elections file and the situation of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon.
He also appreciated the role of Turkey in supporting the Palestinians and their just cause at all international forums.
For his part Çakıl praised the role of Hamas in defending Palestinian rights and affirmed his country’s support for the Palestinian people and their cause hoping that national unity will be soon achieved in Palestine.
