Acting representative of Hamas in Yemen Muaad Abu Shammala on Sunday received in his office in the Yemeni capital (Sana’a) senior Ansarullah official Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti member of the Houthi Movement’s political bureau.
During the meeting Abu Shammala briefed the Houthi official on some of the prominent developments and issues in the Palestinian arena especially with regard to the conspiracies targeting the Palestinian cause.
Abu Shammala expressed his Movement’s appreciation to the Yemeni people from all spectra for their support for the Palestinian people throughout the history of the Palestinian cause.
For his part Bukhaiti asserted his Movement’s support “for the Palestinian people their national cause and their legitimate struggle against the Zionist enemy.”
He also hailed Hamas for “its great role in resisting the Israeli occupation and confronting its project that receives support from international colonial powers spearheaded by the US and Britain.”
The meeting was also attended by director of the Hamas office in Sana’a Omar al-Sabakhi and coordinator of Hamas’s political relations Abdullah Hadi.
