Hamas’s representative in Lebanon Ahmed Abdul-Hadi on Thursday met with Qatari ambassador in Beirut Mohamed al-Jaber and discussed with him several issues of mutual interest.
During the meeting which was also attended by senior Hamas officials in the country the two sides discussed the Qatari and international efforts to help the Palestinian people and the latest developments in the Palestinian arena.
The two sides also discussed the US attempts to carry out the deal of the century which is aimed at liquidating the issues of Jerusalem and Palestinian refugees.
Abdul-Hadi highlighted the living conditions of the Palestinians in Lebanon and called for necessarily strengthening their steadfastness until the day of their return to their homeland.
The Hamas representative also conveyed his Movement’s sincere thanks to Qatar for its great efforts to support the Palestinian people and their national cause.
For his part ambassador Jaber reiterated his country’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people in their struggle for freedom return and independence.
He described his country’s support for the Palestinian people and their national cause as a moral and national duty stressing that no one can prevent Qatar from backing the Palestinian cause.
