Hamas representative meets Sudanese Embassy delegation

BEIRUT (PIC)– Hamas’s representative in Lebanon Ali Baraka met Thursday morning a diplomatic delegation from the Sudanese Embassy to the country.

The Sudanese delegation includes the new and the former counselors at the embassy Hisham Hussein and Tijani Mohammed Ibrahim.

The meeting was also attended by Hamas’s political relations official in Lebanon Ziad Hassan and the media relations officer Abdul Majid Awad.

The two parties discussed the latest Palestinian developments and the Palestinian refugees’ conditions in Lebanon.

They also tackled the Israeli escalated attacks on Palestinian people and holy sites including Israeli break-ins into al-Aqsa the settlement construction and the Gaza siege.

During the meeting Baraka briefed the Sudanese delegation on the humanitarian social and security conditions of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon stressing the importance of maintaining stability in the refugee camps and strengthening the good relations between the Palestinian and Lebanese people.

By the end of the meeting Baraka wished success to the new counselor in his new mission and thanked the former counselor for his efforts in support of the Palestinian cause.

For its part the delegation renewed its country’s total support for the Palestinian people and their right of return condemning the Israeli continued violations of international laws.
