Hamas representative in Iran Khaled al-Qaddoumi met with the head of the Egyptian diplomatic mission in Tehran Ambassador Yasser Othman on Sunday.
Al-Qaddoumi and Othman discussed the latest political developments in the Palestinian question and the progress of national reconciliation.
Ambassador Othman reiterated Egypt’s commitment to boost Palestinian national unity expressing hope that the current efforts would bode well.
The Hamas representative lauded Egypt for its efforts to shore up Palestinian unity saying Hamas will do whatever it takes to serve the Palestinian people and cause.
