A Hamas delegation headed by Rawhi Mushtaha arrived on Monday in Gaza through Rafah crossing after ending a one-week visit to Cairo said the PIC reporter.
A technical team from the Gaza government’s administrative committee which included representatives from the ministries of interior health economy and finance accompanied the delegation to discuss the mechanisms to implement the recent understandings reached with Egyptian officials.
Several issues concerning security in border areas Rafah crossing electricity and fuel supplies were addressed during the visit according to media sources.
An earlier Hamas delegation led by the Movement’s chief in Gaza Yahya al-Sinwar had paid a nine-day visit to Cairo in June in which the Egyptian side vowed to provide facilities that would ease the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip.
