GAZA (PIC)– The Hamas Movement on Monday warned Israel of any foolish attempt on the life of any of the Palestinian leaders or holy shrines affirming full readiness to repel any such aggression.
The Movement’s spokesman in the Gaza Strip Fawzi Barhum called on all Palestinian resistance factions to mobilize and to maintain maximum alert to confront any possible “Zionist terrorist attack on our lands or people”.
In a press release Barhum explained that the “Zionist terrorist leadership” was escalating its campaign of provocation against Hamas leaders while declaring preparedness to invade the Gaza Strip at “trivial pretexts and justifications”.
“The Zionist leadership is still rabidly campaigning against the Hamas Movement” he underlined adding that the goal of such a campaign is mainly to downgrade Hamas’ popularity but affirmed that it would end up in complete failure.
Hamas has always displayed strength and unity in its decision-making in all fields and across its history despite difficulties obstacles and challenges the spokesman asserted noting that to the contrary the Hebrew state was facing a state of confusion in face of such “legendary steadfastness” on the part of Hamas and the Palestinian people in foiling all conspiracies targeting its resistance project.
Hamas will remain strong and will not be affected by such schemes Barhum stressed adding “Our enemy knows quite well that Hamas always stood up in face of its aggressions based on its belief in resistance as a legitimate right of our Palestinian people and that it was ready to sacrifice all in defense of our lands constants and Quds”.
