GAZA (PIC)– Hamas strongly denied media fabrications about disputes between Hamas leaders warning that the response to any assault committed against Hamas cadres will be severe and harsh.
In a statement received by the PIC Hamas considered the people who attempt to disseminate rumors about the disputes between Hamas leaders as “criminals” seeking to create an atmosphere preparing for a series of bloody assassinations against the Hamas leaders and then attribute these criminal acts to the existence of disputes within Hamas.
Hamas also called on the Palestinian citizens to be attentive and to inform the security apparatuses affiliated with the movement if there are any suspicious moves especially with the start of Israeli assaults on Gaza which may be exploited by the criminal gangs affiliated with Fatah to carry out their plans against Hamas leaders.
Hamas also lashed out at the media outlets affiliated with Fatah which made the fabrications especially the Palestine TV describing them as “black and inflammatory” outlets.
For his part Sa’eed Siyam the former interior minister and now head of the Hamas-affiliated parliamentary change and reform bloc stated in a press release on Saturday that “the mutiny trend” are still trying to undermine the internal arena through the lies and rumors propagated by Fatah-affiliated websites and media outlets as a prelude to carry out crimes against Hamas leaders and cadres.
He highlighted that these media lies will never discourage Hamas from preserving its leading role in protecting the Palestinian people from the crimes committed by the mutiny trend affiliated with Fatah.
