Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya has expressed his belief that the US-backed deal of the century and all the attempts to remove the Palestinian cause from the memory of the Muslim nation and its generations will be doomed to failure.
Haneyya made his remarks on Friday during his meeting with a delegation from the Miles of Smiles campaign in his house in Gaza City.
He welcomed members of the delegation warmly and expressed his appreciation to them for the hardships they endured during their travel to Gaza in order to express their solidarity with the besieged population.
The Hamas official emphasized that the Miles of Smiles delegation’s visit to Gaza vindicated further that “all the attempt to erase the Palestinian cause from the memory of the nation and its generation will not succeed.”
He also said that the steps that were taken by some regional countries to normalize relations with the Israeli occupation state liquidate the Palestinian cause and redraw the geopolitical map would fail.
