Head of Hamas’s Political Bureau Ismail Haneyya on Tuesday said that the Great March of Return will continue until it achieve its goals.
This was voiced during a conference held in Gaza city on the 30th anniversary of Hamas’s inception.
“The Great March of Return will continue until it achieves its objectives especially breaking Gaza siege. We will not accept half-solutions” Haneyya said.
The Great March of Return was launched on 30th March along the border between Gaza and the 1948 occupied Palestinian territories. So far dozens of peaceful protesters have been killed by the Israeli army and thousands injured.
Haneyya continued “Our strategy is to establish real national unity based on respect for the principle of partnership.”
He warned of the conspiracies being plotted against Palestinians and noted that US-initiated Deal of the Century is the most dangerous challenge facing the Palestinian cause.
