Ismail Haneyya the supreme leader of Hamas has said that his Movement highly appreciates the Qatari donation to the beleaguered Gaza Strip.
Haneyya said in a press release on Sunday evening that the Qatari donation of 360 million dollars to be disbursed over the year 2021 to Gaza is an extension of its national stands in support of Gaza and its people.
The Hamas leader thanked the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani for his generous donation and his constant support for the Palestinian people and their just cause.
“This donation will be used to pay employee salaries provide financial aid to needy families and operate power stations in order to help alleviate the harsh humanitarian situation and the difficult living conditions in the Strip” the Qatari news agency QNA said earlier Sunday.
