The head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas Ismail Haneyya on Wednesday confirmed his movement’s rejection of the deal of the century and any agreement or project that diminishes the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people.
In exclusive statements to Al-Jazeera TV channel Haneyya welcomed the Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas’s intent to send a delegation from the West Bank to the Gaza Strip to discuss the latest developments.
He said the move would launch a new stage of national dialogue.
Haneyya expressed regret that a number of representatives of Arab countries attended the conference in which the US president Donald Trump officially announced his “peace plan” for the Palestinian-Israeli conflict on Tuesday.
He explained that the Arab governments should instead support the Palestinian people and their struggle against the Israeli occupation and apartheid.
