The head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya affirmed in a press release issued at dawn Tuesday that Nablus is drawing the path of glory and pride.
Shortly following the Israeli aggression on Nablus Haneyya stressed that the Palestinian sacrifices in Nablus will only fuel a revolution in the West Bank.
The Israeli occupation will definitely regret these crimes he added.
He further pointed out that the Arin al-Osoud (Lions’ Den) armed group has embodied the unity of blood and destiny.
Earlier five Palestinians were killed and 20 wounded during violent clashes that erupted in Nablus after being stormed by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF).
The confrontations erupted after large numbers of Israeli forces infiltrated into Nablus and were spotted by Palestinian resistance fighters.
A sixth person was shot dead by Israeli soldiers in Nabi Saleh north of the city of Ramallah.
