There is no way the Palestinians can recognize the Israeli occupation or normalize ties with it political bureau chief of Hamas Ismail Haneyya said on Wednesday.
Speaking during the funeral procession of Abdul Rahim Abbas at Palestine Mosque west of Gaza city Haneyya said: “The Palestinians will never ever give up a single inch of Palestine. Jerusalem is ours. Trump’s deal of the century is futile.”
“Resistance is the only route towards liberating Palestine and its holy sites” he said.
Haneyya hailed deceased Abdul Rahim Abbas whom he said was a prototype of self-sacrifice military aptitude and self-discipline.
Officer Abbas aged 39 died following an accidental blast in Gaza.
