Head of the Hamas political bureau Ismail Haneyya said on Sunday that the Islamic nation must get rid of its internal conflicts and focus on its main enemy Israel.
Haneyya stressed during a recorded speech that was broadcast at the opening session of the conference of the Islamic Radio and Television Union in Iran that the nation’s causes especially the Palestinian cause are being targeted in a desperate attempt to liquidate them to serve the US and Israeli projects in the region.
The 9th General Assembly of the Islamic Radio and Television Union kicked off in Mashahd city in Iran on Sunday.
More than 210 media institutions including 133 TV channels and about 500 media figures representing 35 countries are participating in the conference.
The Union opened on Saturday the Islamic Film Market which will last for three days with the participation of 133 media institutions representing 21 countries and displaying more than 850 TV documentaries and movies as well as children’s programs that are produced in 2017 and cover political and non-political themes.
