Wednesday 25-January-2012

GAZA (PIC)– Palestinian premier Ismail Haneyya on Tuesday inaugurated the conference of graduate studies and scientific research in Gaza and welcomed in a speech the participating deans of some Arab colleges.

A galaxy of 50 deans of different Arab colleges from Egypt Sudan Lebanon Iraq and Jordan participated in this conference that was organized by Al-Aqsa university in Gaza.

Premier Haneyya hailed the deans for coming to Gaza to partake in this conference and said their participation contributed to breaking Israel’s scientific and educational siege on the Gaza Strip.

“You are breaking the scientific blockade imposed by the occupation on the Gaza Strip because this siege has affected all aspects of life; it is political economic and scientific blockade” Haneyya stated.

“The Palestinian people were able to break the material blockade through the lifelines they have dug under the ground; we  have not given in to the political siege imposed on us which started to reel because of the changes happening to the Arab nation nowadays and the trip we made lately and the official and popular reception we had proved that the nation is with Palestine all Palestine” he highlighted.
