Thursday 20-July-2017

Political bureau chairman of Hamas Ismail Haneyya called on Palestinians to take to the streets on Friday and to announce it a day of anger in all of occupied Palestinian territories and called for similar demonstrations in Arab and Muslim countries.

In a speech on Thursday Haneyya called on Muslims across the world to declare Friday as a turning point in defending Occupied Jerusalem and al-Aqsa Mosque through uprisings and mobilization in all Muslim capital cities and towns in protest at Israeli Judaization plans.

The Hamas leader called for adherence to unity for the sake of the issue of Occupied Jerusalem. He highlighted that the Palestinian people have been fighting the Israeli occupation for 100 years for the dignity of Arabs and Muslims.

Haneyya stressed that the Israeli occupation has no right to sovereignty over Occupied Jerusalem. He hailed the Jerusalemite sit-inners who are defending al-Aqsa Mosque and the martyrs of Jabarin family who carried out the anti-occupation attack at al-Aqsa Mosque. Israeli punitive measures against the Jerusalemite people will not pass Haneyya said.
