Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya has called on the Palestinians in the occupied West Bank to continue organizing popular rallies that demand the Palestinian Authority (PA) to revoke its sanctions on the Gaza Strip.
In a speech on Thursday Haneyya urged the protesters in the West Bank to demand the PA to correct its national approach as well and not only ask it to end the injustice being inflicted on Gaza.
He also extended warmest greetings and best wishes on the Occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr to the families of martyrs and wounded citizens who “represent the greatness of this people their vitality and their ability to sacrifice and produce.”
“The West Bank has moved in support of our unwavering political approach and said no to the policy of starvation and blockade being pursued against their brothers in the Gaza Strip and no to the security collaboration with the occupation” the Hamas official underscored.
He also paid tribute to the steadfast people of Jerusalem for their strong presence at the Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan stressing that “none of the decisions taken by Trump or Netanyahu will change the identity of Jerusalem.”
