The head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya has congratulated the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) on its founding anniversary.
Via a phone call on Tuesday Haneyya told the PFLP’s deputy chief Jamil Mizhir that the Hamas Movement and all its members abroad and at home extend their sincere congratulations to the PFLP on the anniversary of its founding and to its imprisoned leader Ahmed Saadat.
Haneyya hailed the PFLP for its bravery while confronting the Israeli occupation and defending the Palestinians’ rights and lands.
He concluded that Hamas will continue confronting the Israeli occupation until there will be no place for the occupiers stressing that working towards releasing Palestinian prisoners is a top priority for the Palestinian resistance.
For his part Mizhir congratulated Hamas on the 35th anniversary of its founding affirming the importance of maintaining a strong relationship between Hamas and the PFLP.
