Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya reviewed latest Palestinian developments with the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in a phone call on Thursday.
“19 Palestinians were martyred by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan five of them martyred in the last 24 hours” Haneyya said warning that persisting in such practices would lead to serious repercussions.
Haneyya hailed the considerable political and humanitarian support that the state of Qatar provides to the Palestinian people.
Meanwhile the Emir of Qatar expressed his country’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people until liberation and establishment of their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
Tension has been running high in the West Bank and Jerusalem after the IOF launched repeated violent raid and arrest campaigns in several towns villages and refugee camps leaving behind an increasing number of martyrs and wounded.
