Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya has hailed Egypt and Qatar for their efforts made to end the latest Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
Haneyya on Monday phoned the leadership of the Egyptian intelligence to thank President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for instructing Egyptian officials to work towards ending Israeli attacks on Gaza.
He also phoned Qatar’s Minister of Foreign Affair Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani to express his thanks and gratitude for Qatari efforts made to end the Israeli offensive against Gaza.
After three days of the Israeli offensive on Gaza a ceasefire between the resistance in Gaza and Israel entered into force at 11:30 p.m. (local time) on Sunday with Egyptian mediation.
Israel has launched a three-day aggression on the Gaza Strip starting last Friday evening leaving 46 Palestinian citizens killed and 360 others wounded in addition to vast material damage.
