A high-level delegation from the Hamas Movement led by its political chief Ismail Haneyya is slated to visit Cairo next week before flying to the Russian capital Moscow.
An informed source told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that the delegation would head for Cairo on December 17 before going to Russia on an official visit.
The source added that the delegation would also include deputy head of Hamas’s political bureau Saleh al-Aruri head of Hamas in Gaza Yehya al-Sinwar and other senior officials.
Last month Haneyya received an official invitation from the Russian foreign ministry to visit Moscow and meet with the Russian leadership.
