GAZA (PIC)– Palestinian premier Ismail Haneyya leaves for Egypt later on Monday on a few days visit to discuss Gaza’s power crisis with Egyptian officials.
Dr. Yousef Rizka the political advisor to Haneyya told Safa news agency that Haneyya would cross the Rafah border terminal on a visit to Cairo for a discussion of three main issues.
He said that the premier would discuss the reconciliation process in addition to fuel shortage and power crisis in Gaza.
Haneyya would meet with Egyptian officials concerned with those three issues Rizka said adding that he would also meet with political bureau chairman of Hamas Khaled Mishaal.
The advisor noted that the Haneyya-Mishaal meeting would be preceded by the second meeting for the temporary leadership entrusted with reactivating the Palestine liberation organization with the participation of Hamas and Islamic Jihad movements in accordance with the reconciliation agreement signed by all Palestinian factions in Cairo last May.
