Head of Hamas Movement’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya met on Thursday afternoon with the UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Nikolay Mladenov in Gaza Strip.
Mladenov arrived to the besieged enclave today morning via Israeli-controlled Beit Hanoun (Erez) crossing.
His visit came amid growing tension after the killing of three members of al-Qassam Brigades Hamas’ armed wing in an Israeli artillery attack.
Following the recent Israeli escalation the brigades has put its forces and units on high alert in all areas of the Gaza Strip.
