The head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya on Tuesday participated in the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of Algeria’s independence.
In a press statement the Hamas Movement expressed appreciation for the invitation of the Algerian president stressing that the participation in the celebrations of the Algerian independence anniversary reflects the depth of the relationship between the Palestinian and Algerian peoples.
“Such participation reflects the extent of the Palestinian resistance’s pride in the Algerian role in support of Palestine and the status Hamas enjoys among the Algerian leadership and people whose revolution represented a source of inspiration for the Arab and Muslim nation” the Movement added.
