Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya phoned on Wednesday evening the wife of the imprisoned Secretary-General of the Popular Front Ahmed Saadat after Israeli occupation forces’ (IOF) raid on their family home.
Haneyya strongly condemned the IOF raid and expressed rejection of the Israeli attack on the prisoner’s family.
He further expressed total support to the prisoner’s family in face of the Israeli attacks and violations.
For his part Hamas spokesman Abdullatif Al-Qanou strongly condemned and denounced the IOF storming of Sadaat’s house and terrorizing his family.
“As we condemn this barbaric raid we affirm that it reflects the Israeli occupation’s criminal behavior and disrespect for all humanitarian conventions and international laws and norms” Qanou said.
“We salute Saadat’s family who are facing the arrogance and terror of the occupation” he added.
He also reiterated that this brutal attack will not undermine the determination of the steadfast detainee Ahmed Saadat.
For her part Abla Sadaat the wife of the prisoner Sadaat said that IOF soldiers broke into her home in Ramallah at dawn Wednesday and wreaked havoc on it and took photos of personal papers and of the house’s interior.
