Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haneyya received a phone call from Egypt’s Intelligence Minister Major General Abbas Kamel on Sunday evening.
Haneyya’s office in a press statement described the phone call as “important” without giving further details.
Haneyya on Thursday informed Minister Kamel that Hamas accepted Egypt’s recent paper for reconciliation with Fatah.
