Haneyya’s speech to calm down the Palestinian arena

GAZA (PIC)– Ahmed Yousef the political advisor to PA premier Ismail Haneyya said on Tuesday that Haneyya’s speech to be delivered later Tuesday would attempt to unite the Palestinian people and to calm down conditions in the Palestinian arena.

Yousef in a press release said that the speech would include a number of positive articles and would confirm the government’s keenness on formation of a national unity government.

He pointed out that the premier would also respond to a number of points mentioned in PA chief Mahmoud Abbas’ address affirming that it would be one of unity and not like that of Abbas.

For his part deputy premier and education minister Dr. Nasseruddin Al-Shaer said that Haneyya’s speech would tackle the present conditions in the Palestinian arena and would shed light on his foreign tour.

It would also include the government’s response to Abbas’ call for early elections and would call for calm and unity Shaer underlined.

Meanwhile Yousef revealed that OIC secretary general Akmal Al-Din Ihsan Oglo would arrive in Gaza on Tuesday for a meeting with Abbas and Haneyya in a bid to restore calm to the Palestinian arena.
