Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya has sent a congratulatory letter to Saudi King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman on the occasion of the Kingdom’s 92nd national day.
In his recent letter Haneyya said that his Movement “shares the joy of the Saudi people on this happy occasion” and that it “appreciates the Kingdom’s stances and its deep history of serving the major and central Muslim causes especially the Aqsa Mosque.”
The Hamas leader expressed his hope that “this happy occasion could be crowned with a royal pardon for all the Palestinian detainees in the Kingdom.”
He also expressed hope to see Saudi Arabia a home of security and peace for the Palestinian people as it used to be for long decades.
