Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya has sent a letter to Ayatollah Khamenei the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran to urge him to rally strong support for the Palestinian people in light of the current Israeli aggression against them.
In the letter Haneyya briefed Khamenei on the recent Israeli violations and provocations that triggered the current events in Gaza and other parts of Palestine.
“In light of the escalating [Israeli] criminal attack on our land people and holy site and in light of our people’s steadfastness in the face of this aggression and their rallying around their legitimate and valiant resistance against the aggression they had to face the Hamas Movement would like to put you in the picture of what is really happening on the ground the reasons for the current scene and its developments” the Hamas political chief stated.
He asked the Iranian leader to do his best to rally Arab Islamic and international support for the Palestinian people and coordinate with all concerned parties to take a clear and firm position against Israel.
