Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya is slated to pay an official visit to Cairo next week before flying to Russia.
An informed source told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Haneyya intends to visit Moscow after he received last month an official invitation to visit the country.
Russian ambassador to Palestine Haider Rashid already handed over the invitation to Haneyya during a meeting held on November 28 at the latter’s house in Gaza.
Haneyya is expected to meet with the Russian leadership to discuss the bilateral relations and the latest developments in the Palestinian arena.
