Haneyya urges Arab League to respond to US embassy relocation to J’lem

Hamas chief Ismail Haneyya called on the League of Arab States to hold an emergency meeting to discuss the U.S. intent to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of the self-proclaimed Jewish state.

Reaching out to Arab leaders Haneyya warned of the upshots of the U.S. decision to relocate its embassy to Occupied Jerusalem.

Haneyya also spoke to the Secretary-General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit Haneyya sounded the alarm over the U.S. intent to relocate its embassy to Occupied Jerusalem and recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Haneyya pushed for an emergency meeting to discuss the fallouts of the move and the latest developments in Occupied Jerusalem.

Haneyya vowed that the Palestinians will do whatever it takes to defend their holy sites and land.

For his part Aboul Gheit expressed concern over the U.S. recent decisions saying a round of meetings will be held by the Arab League’s permanent delegates and foreign ministers to discuss possible ways to handle the situation.
