Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya on Tuesday visited the Palestinian child Rahaf Salman who is receiving medical treatment in Turkey after she lost three of her limbs during the latest Israeli assault on Gaza.
Haneyya extended his gratitude to the healthcare team after they performed more than one operation to extract shrapnel from Rahaf’s body and from her right eye praising their considerable efforts in providing medical care for her.
He also hailed the generous hospitality of the Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan who agreed to receive Rahaf and her wounded brother to get medical treatment in one of the largest Turkish hospitals in Ankara in addition to receiving several Palestinians who were wounded in the repeated Israeli offensives on Gaza.
President Erdoğan had agreed to receive Rahaf Salman for treatment in Turkey after she was injured in an Israeli airstrike and lost three of her limbs.
