Haneyya warns of steps to integrate Israel into regional alliances

Saturday 25-June-2022

Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya has strongly denounced some Arab countries for going overboard in their relations with the Israeli occupation state describing their behavior as “very harmful”.

“What is happening at the regional level is extremely dangerous and has gone beyond normalization affairs between Arab countries and Israel” Haneyya said on Saturday addressing the National Islamic Conference in Beirut.

Haneyya described the Arab normalization of relations with the occupation state as a “crime” that serves the occupation state and harms Palestine and the Arab normalizers warning of steps to “integrate the Zionist regime into alliances in the region.”

He stressed that the plan to forge such alliances targets the resistance in Palestine and Lebanon adding that the Palestinian people need their strategic depth in the region and the unity of the Arab and Muslim nations to confront the occupation state.

The Hamas leader also highlighted in his speech the dangers threatening the Aqsa Mosque and the conspiracy targeting the Palestinian refugees’ right of return.
