Occupied Jerusalem (PIC)- Dr. Attalla Hanna the Roman Orthodox Archbishop of Sabastia has urged both Hamas and Fatah movements to sit at the negotiating table and agree on common grounds in order to avoid further armed disputes.
Hanna in a statement to Quds Press on Friday said that his appeal also was directed to all other Palestinian factions and forces to end the strife and to shun differences.
The Palestinian people are the only ones harmed by such clashes while the Israeli occupation is the only one benefiting “as it wants us to fight each other so as not to face the real enemy which is occupation”.
A number of Palestinians were killed and tens others were wounded in feudal fighting in the Gaza Strip over the past few days.
