The mother of the hunger striking prisoner in Israeli jails Hasan al-Awiwi has started an open hunger strike in solidarity with her son.
The Palestinian Prisoner Society said that al-Awiwi’s health condition is worsening. Al-Awiwi who has been on hunger strike for 69 days is currently held at hospital after refusing water.
Al-Awiwi 35 a father of three started an open-ended hunger strike over two months ago in protest at his detention administratively without charge or trial.
