“A total lockdown is out of question in the current stage but we may impose it if required” the Health Minister in the Ramallah government Mai al-Kaila said Saturday.
Al-Kaila explained that the decision to close schools for 10 days in the West Bank came to avoid a more difficult stage.
Further decisions will be declared in the coming days in light of the increasing surge of COVID-19 Al-Kaila added.
The Minister expressed concern over the rapid increase of COVID-19 cases especially in light of the modest potentials and difficult situation suffered by the health sector in Palestine.
