Friday 13-December-2019

A number of Palestinian citizens were injured on Friday when Israeli occupation forces (IOF) heavily opened fire at the protesters taking part in the Great March of Return near Gaza border.

Gaza’s Ministry of Health said that five Palestinian demonstrators were injured by IOF bullets and tear gas canisters.

According to the PIC reporters hundreds of Palestinians marched on the 84th Friday of the Great March of Return along the border between the Gaza Strip and the 1948 occupied territories despite the cold weather.

The Gaza Strip Palestinians have been demonstrating on a weekly basis in the Great March of Return since 30 March 2018 to call for the return of refugees and an end to the Israeli blockade on Gaza.

The IOF since the border protests started has killed 362 Palestinians and injured over 32000.
