The Palestinian ministry of health announced on Wednesday that 15 deaths 756 new cases of the coronavirus were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The ministry said in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 8 deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip while 7 deaths were recorded in the West Bank adding that 1748 recovery cases were recorded in the same period.
It pointed out that there are 75 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units while 141 others are treated in the West Bank’s COVID-19 sections in various hospitals including 12 who have been placed on ventilators.
The recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 95.6 percent while the rate of active infections reached 3.4 percent and the death rate was 1 percent of all infections the ministry said.
Regarding the vaccination campaign the total number of people who received the corona vaccine in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 2341129.
