The Palestinian health ministry in Ramallah said that five patients fromdifferent West Bank areas died of coronavirus on Saturday.
According to a brief statement released by the ministry in the evening the number of Palestinian citizens who had died of the virus since Saturday morning rose to five after a 63-year-old patient in al-Khalil breathed his last.
Earlier an 82-year-old COVID-19 patient from al- Masara village in Bethlehem was also proclaimed dead.
The health ministry said that Saturday’s new deaths brought the total to 78 since the outbreak of the pandemic in Palestine.
