Israeli security apparatuses arrested a group of Hamas operatives in Occupied Jerusalem who were allegedly planning attacks against Israeli policemen during the month of Ramadan according to Hebrew media sources.
The Hebrew website Wala said that Israeli security apparatuses allowed the publication of the news on Friday adding that the alleged Hamas members had received training on shooting in an unspecified country abroad.
It said that the Israeli prosecution in Occupied Jerusalem would table an indictment against four Palestinians all from Occupied Jerusalem who had returned from a trip abroad last month.
The website claimed that the four young men had met with “prominent” Hamas leaders and were accused of collecting donations for the Movement recruiting youths and planning large-scale protests in the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.
In another development Israeli police officers detained two Palestinian young men after beating them in Bab el-Amud in Occupied Jerusalem on Thursday night local sources said.
The Israeli police had detained a Palestinian child in the Old City of Occupied Jerusalem before taking him to his family home and serving him a summons for investigation.
