The Lebanese Hezbollah condemned on Saturday “the sinful crime” of assassinating Mazen Fuqaha in Gaza stressing that “the despicable Zionist fingerprints appear clearly in its scene.”
In a statement Hezbollah said that Israel’s hostile spirit is evident in the crime and stressed the inevitability of the continuation of the fight against the enemy till expelling it from “our occupied land”.
Offering congratulations and condolences to the Palestinians Hamas Movement and the family of the martyr over Fuqaha’s assassination Hezbollah called for punishing all the culprits involved in the crime so that no one dares to target the resistance and its freedom fighters.”
Al-Qassam commander Mazen Fuqaha who was freed in a 2011 prisoner swap deal was assassinated on Friday evening with four bullets in his head.
Fuqaha was released along with more than 1000 other Palestinian prisoners in exchange for the Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit.
