New groups of Israeli settlers on Monday morning forced their way into Al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem to celebrate Jewish holidays.

According to local sources hordes of Israeli settlers defiled Al-Aqsa Mosque in the early morning hours and carried out provocative tours inside the compound.

Israel’s Temple Mount Group has called on Jewish settlers to flock to al-Aqsa Mosque this week to mark the Jewish New Year.

Meanwhile the Palestinian Ministry of Awqaf and several youth societies have called on the Palestinian citizens to intensify their presence in Al-Aqsa Mosque and defend it against settler violations.

Dozens of Israeli settlers on Wednesday forced their way into al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem while accompanied by large police forces.

Spokesman for Jerusalem’s Islamic Awqaf Feras al-Dibs said that 154 Jewish settlers broke into al-Aqsa Mosque in the early morning hours under heavy police guard.

Al-Dibs said that during the break-in the Israeli police forces violently assaulted al-Aqsa guard Muhannad Idrees near Bab al-Rahma area and arrested a Palestinian worshiper in the same place.

Israeli settlers have recently stepped up their mass break-ins into al-Aqsa Mosque while dozens of Palestinian citizens have been banned from entering the holy mosque for different periods.

Meanwhile the Israeli police deployed many makeshift barriers on the roads leading to al-Aqsa Mosque and tightened restrictions on the Palestinian worshipers entering the holy site.

Spokesman for the Islamic Awqaf Feras al-Dibs said that 71 settlers 8 students from religious institutes and 6 Intelligence officers broke into al-Aqsa Mosque in the early morning hours.

Al-Dibs said that the settlers roamed al-Aqsa courtyards while being given presentations on the alleged “Temple Mount” and some of them performed Talmudic rituals at Bab al-Rahma prayer area and the Dome of the Rock.

Quds Press said quoting the Islamic Awqaf that 61 extremist settlers stormed the Mosque in the early morning hours through al-Maghareba Gate.

The settlers performed Talmudic rituals at Bab al-Rahma prayer rea while restrictions were tightened on Muslim worshipers.

The Israeli police allowed another round of settler break-in after noon prayer according to Quds Press.

Dozens of Israeli settlers on Tuesday morning broke into al-Aqsa Mosque while escorted by a large police force.

Local sources said that 45 Israeli settlers in the early morning hours stormed al-Aqsa Mosque via al-Maghareba Gate toured its courtyards and received presentations on the alleged “Temple Mount”.

The same sources said that 50 Jewish students from religious institutes and Israeli universities visited the Mosque during the same period.

Israeli settlers carry out provocative tours inside al-Aqsa Mosque on a daily basis except Fridays and Saturdays amid heavy police presence in two rounds: in the morning and afternoon.

The Israeli police meanwhile have recently banned five Aqsa guards and a Jerusalemite activist from entering al-Aqsa Mosque for 4-6 months.
