AL-KHALIL (PIC)– Three Palestinian siblings were victims of a tragic fire accident on Wednesday in al-Khalil city.
Local sources said that fire broke out in the house of al-Qawasmeh family in an apartment on the fourth floor of a ten-story block in al-Baladiyah suburb in the city.
The sources added that the entire home caught fire leading to the tragic death of three siblings. Khaled 15 his 2-year-old brother Mohammad and his 4-year-old sister Majd all died in the disastrous blaze.
The fire gutted the house of Ismail Khalil al-Qawasmeh who along with his wife and other five children got injured. The wounds ranged between minor and medium the sources said.
The sources revealed that the shortage of civil defense capabilities and lack of fire extinguish tools in the upper floors dramatically aggravated the problem which raised the ire of the family and the neighborhood.
