The 302 Human Rights Commission for the Defense of Palestinian Refugees lashed out at the guards of the UNRWA Director General in the Gaza Strip Matthias Shamali for using stun grenades to disperse protesters who participated in a sit-in before the UNRWA’s headquarters asking the agency to cancel its resolutions on the Emergencies program employees.
In a statement on Monday evening the Commission expressed their support for peaceful action exerted by the employees for demanding their rights with accordance to the international laws.
The 302 Commission warned of the seriousness of quelling UNRWA protesters and called for forming an investigation committee to hold the officials accountable.
