Hundreds of Palestinians laid to rest two martyrs who were killed in an Israeli air strike near the Palestinian-Egyptian borders on Thursday.
The funeral of Hussam al-Sofi 24 proceeded in the streets of Rafah and hundreds participated in the funeral of Mohammed al-Aqra 38 which proceeded in the streets of Gaza city.
Dr. Ashraf al-Qidra the health ministry spokesperson in Gaza said that two Palestinians were killed in an Israeli air strike near the Palestinian-Egyptian borders.
A huge explosion was heard near the Palestinian-Egyptian borders which later according to eyewitnesses turned out to be the result of an air raid that targeted a commercial tunnel leading to the death of two Palestinians.
Civil Defense crews were able to retrieve the bodies of the two martyrs with great difficulty and after working for almost three hours.
