Hundreds of Palestinians and activists on Friday morning flocked to Khan al-Ahmar village which is facing an imminent threat of demolition.
The marchers including local notables performed Friday prayer in the village as a way to express solidarity with its residents.
Meanwhile Israeli police closed all roads leading to Khan al-Ahmar and deployed more forces at its main entrance.
An open-ended sit-in has been held in Khan al-Ahmar east of Occupied Jerusalem for over two weeks now in protest at Israel’s Supreme Court’s order to demolish the Bedouin village and forcibly transfer its residents to another area.
