Dozens of Palestinian citizens performed Friday prayer inside the central sit-in tent in Silwan south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem.
After the prayer the citizens organized a rally against Israeli settlement and displacement activity stressing their steadfastness against the Israeli occupation’s Judaizing schemes.
The Israeli police tried to provoke the participants by standing in front of the tent.
The people of Silwan town in Occupied Jerusalem have continued for about a year to maintain vigil in their lands and confront the occupation’s attempts and its so-called nature authority’s attempts to seize it.
The Committee for the Defense of Silwan had confirmed that Silwan’s residents would not leave their lands.
