Hundreds of Arab and Turkish citizens rallied on Friday in Istanbul City to express their solidarity with the Palestinian people and their national cause.
The march which started from the Fatih Mosque in central Istanbul following the Friday prayer was called for by Vidar the Turkish Association of Solidarity with Palestine.
The participants carried Palestinian flags pictures of the Aqsa Mosque and placards calling for defending Palestine and its Islamic holy sites.
In a statement read during the event Vidar called for strongly supporting the Palestinian people and their rights.
Vidar also applauded the March of Return rallies in Gaza and said that one year of border protests succeeded in drawing the world’s attention to the unjust blockade imposed on Gaza for over 12 years.
